Kim Yunsuong is a non-executive director of the KEA (Korea Energy Agency) and a policy advisory member of the MAFRA (Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs). She also served as a member of the MOTIE (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy) new and renewable energy basic plan working group, an expert member of the ME (Ministry of Environment) sustainabiliy committee, and delegate to the Carbon Neutrality Committee of the President’s Special Committee on Agriculture, contributing to policy decisions for Korea’s energy transition. Based on experience as an expert in the energy planning field at the Nonghyup Economic Research Institute, Yonsei University Public Affairs Research Institute, and Green Energy Strategy Research Institute, Yunsuong has established Energy & Space in 2023. Energy & Space aims to provide solution oriented policies for energy transition through spatial planning in rural and maritime areas and a systematic and scientific approach.
